## What is Onir?

Onir is [Wery](/en/experts/wery)'s podcast and spoken word content expert, responsible for program positioning, episode structure, interview questions, host scripts, show notes and recordable scripts.

## Program form

Different program formats require different structures.

- Single person podcast: point of view narration, knowledge explanation, brand column.
- Two-person dialogue: division of labor by moderator, advancement of questions and transitions.
- Interview: Introduction of guests, order of questions, and direction of inquiry.
- Short-form broadcast: 90 seconds to 5 minutes social media or advertising spoken-word broadcast.
- Data-to-program: Turn articles, research, and conference proceedings into audible scripts.

## Workflow

The goal of Onir is to be audible, not to be beautifully written.

1. Describe the program's theme, audience, duration, language and hosting style.
2. Provide materials: articles, web pages, research, transcriptions, audio notes, or historical programs.
3. Generate the structure first: opening, body, transition, ending, and CTA.
4. Generate readable scripts, controlling sentence length and pauses.
5. When you need a musical intro, leave it to [Lydi](/en/experts/lydi).

## Script quality check

A good oral script should read naturally.

- Have a question hook in the opening, not like a thesis abstract.
- Only talk about one core point in each paragraph.
- Make transitions natural and avoid rigid lists.
- The sentences are short and easy to read aloud.
- At the end there is a summary, a preview of the next issue or suggestions for action.
- Interview questions should be asked from light to deep, leaving room for follow-up questions.
